How can I apply?

You can easily upload your application online via our applicant portal. Simply select the position you would like to apply for and click on “Apply now”. Then fill out the application form and upload your application letter, your CV and your work and study certificates.

Which application documents should I upload?

Please upload a cover letter and a current CV. If you have work references, study or training certificates and other relevant certificates and documents, you can also upload them.

How do I apply if I am interested in multiple positions?

It is not necessary that you apply for several positions. It is sufficient if you apply for one position, as we always carefully check whether you might also fit into another position. If you are not sure which position suits you best, send us an unsolicited application or write us in the cover letter which positions you are interested in.

Do the interviews take place online or in the office?

The first interview usually takes place via Microsoft Teams. For the second interview, we would be happy to invite you to our premises on the Saarbrücken University campus in Science Park 2.

What is the best way to prepare for the interview?

The interview usually consists of two parts: a personal part with questions about yourself, your motivation and your soft skills, and a technical part with questions about your expertise and relevant experience. The most important thing is that you simply be yourself – the main goal of the interview is to get to know you better and to be able to assess you. You can also find out more about us and our products on our website.

Will my data be treated confidentially?

Of course, your data will be treated confidentially. For this reason, we also ask you to submit your application exclusively via our applicant management system and not by e-mail or post. Our privacy policy is automatically stored in the application upload.

What is the application process like?

  1. Send application: Send us your application online via our application portal. After you have filled out the form and submitted all required documents, you will receive a confirmation of receipt by e-mail.
  2. Preselection: We check your documents carefully. Please note that this may take some time.
  3. The interview: your interview partners are your HR contact Charlotte and at least one person from the responsible department. We will have one or two interviews with you and may also give you a coding task to solve.
  4. The contract offer: If your profile has convinced us, we will send you a contract offer. This will be sent to you by e-mail via our personnel management program Personio, and you can easily sign it digitally.

When can I expect the first feedback?

You will receive a confirmation of receipt by e-mail directly after you have sent your application. We will then contact you personally within two weeks at the latest.

How long does the application process take?

It is important to us to give you feedback as soon as possible. Sometimes the process may be delayed due to increased coordination needs, but we will inform you about this.

What are my working hours as a working student?

As a working student, you can work a maximum of 20 hours per week for us for legal reasons. Ideally, you will work an average of 15-20 hours per week. We require a minimum working time of 8 hours per week on average. In order for you to be able to perfectly combine your work and your studies, you can flexibly arrange your working hours.

From which semester can I apply as a working student?

In general, we do not have a rule as to the semester from which we hire working students.

If you are a perfect fit for our position and have some initial experience, you are welcome to join us, regardless of your number of semesters.
